Video Shows Officers Detaining Man Outside Residence as Child Runs Inside

Video footage shared by MrCheckpoint shows police officers detaining a man on the ground outside a doorway while a young girl runs crying into the residence.

In the recording, officers are seen holding the man face down on a concrete walkway. The man repeatedly asks the officers, "What did I do?" and "For what?"

An officer instructs the man, stating, "You're being detained, put your hands out in front of you." When the man continues asking why he is being detained, the officer repeats the command, stating, "Put your hands out in front of you. I'm not gonna ask again."

Text on the video references an LAPD arrest. The footage ends with officers continuing to hold the man against the ground.
