Officer Raymond Barrantes of the West Sacramento Police Department was arrested on suspicion of DUI and booked at San Joaquin County Jail. Back in 2014, Barrantes was honored with a plaque by the organizations Mothers Against Drunk Driving (M.A.D.D) for making the most DUI related arrests that year, but it looks like that didn’t stop him when he drove drunk late last month. Officer Barrantes is on administrative leave and is being investigated by Internal Affairs.
