From Cop to Criminal: Grace Baez’s Shocking Drug Dealing Scandal Unveiled. An NYPD Officer’s Downfall and the Quest for Justice.
Unveiling the Shocking Downfall:
Grace Baez, NYPD Officer Turned Alleged Narcotics Dealer, Faces Federal Charges. A Tale of Corruption, Crime, and the Pursuit of Justice.
Grace Baez was arrested by federal officers for allegedly dealing narcotics such as fentanyl and heroin while on duty. She was charged with conspiracy to distribute narcotics and distribution of narcotics. She was caught trying to sell drugs to a federal informant between October 9th and October 29th.
Officials have said that Baez tried to give the informant a sample of “top quality” fentanyl that was stored in a Mentos can. Additionally, she said that she could sell them a kilo of heroin for $25k. The pricing was dependent on the drug’s purity for 800 grams of fentanyl.
She was on desk duty when she would arrange the meetings and talk prices. This was to be able to sell “kilogram quantities of narcotics.” When she met with the informant, she had a kilo and 400 grams of heroin and 640 grams of fentanyl. The fentanyl was labeled “640 Manzana.” She was arrested the same day.
Her home was raided, and the federal police found more drugs and a kilogram press machine. During their search, her boyfriend allegedly attempted to throw out the drugs they confiscated.
About Grace Baez
